Sex Education Workshop at CIS

The school held a workshop on Sex Education on 7th of August for the students of Grade 5. It was an interactive session and was done under the expertise of Dr.Ajayita Chanana. In this workshop the main attention was given to the physical, mental and emotional changes that children go through when they enter the adolescent age i.e. 11 years onward. They were told about how to take care of themselves in the times of puberty. They were also told about the menstrual cycle in girls and how to deal with it. Dr. Ajayita also talked about the evils of drinking and smoking and how to keep oneself away from it. The students learnt a lot from this workshop and had a lot of queries about their day to day life which were duly solved by the doctor.
