Chitkara International School celebrated mother’s day to acknowledge the spirit of this outstanding woman from 4th to 6th May’2011. This in a way helped the children to understand how precious a mother is and she wants nothing but a simple moment of consideration and love for all the services she had rendered to them. Different activities were designed especially to give a break from their hectic schedules and to make sure they enjoyed every single moment with their children at school. The junior as well as the senior wing witnessed a splendid 3 day celebration where the mothers along with their children indulged in activities like antakshari, know your mom quiz, dressing up games, finding out the mother's belongings, karaoke, dance, necklace making, etc. The response of the mothers was overwhelming they all felt that they were back to school, though it was just for a few hours.

Overall the Mother’s Day at Chitkara International School was celebrated with full fervor and turned out to be a huge success.
