An Inter-School Dance Competition 'Dance Pe Chance' was organized by the AKSIPS group of schools on 19th August, 2011 at the Law Bhawan in sector 37 Chandigarh and we are pleased to announce that Chitkara International School won the second position in the competition.

The students had to perform on any dance form in category A and the students at CIS chose Classical dance as a medium of their dance. There were 17 teams who participated in the competition and all these teams were judged on the basis of Synchronization, Rhythm, Expression, Energy and Costume. There were 2 categories and each category had 4 prizes i.e. 1st, 2nd, 3rd and consolation. Overall, the stage was completely set on fire with the performances of the students from different schools across the city.
