Teacher’s day celebrations at CIS

The students of Chitkara International School celebrated Teacher’s Day on the 4th and 5th of September’09. The program began with a ‘Thank you’ activity in which the students of Nursery, Junior KG and Senior KG spoke a few lines about their favorite teacher. Then the students of grade 4 and 5 presented an imitation act in front of the teachers. On the 5th of September, Dr. Madhu Chitkara, Chairperson CIS and the honorable guests Dr. D.N. Sansanwal, Ms. Mischell and Dr.Phill from the Lanchestar University, U.K were invited. The students performed on the dance number ‘Apni to Paathshaala, Masti ki Paathshaala’ and sang a beautiful song for the teachers. The program was concluded by a scrumptious lunch of Amritsari Kulchas that were especially prepared by cooks from Amritsar.It was an overwhelming experience for both the teachers and the students.
