Medical Workshop

In an effort to enhance the welfare of the administrative and teaching staff, Chitkara International School organized a workshop that focused on important health issues particularly stress and breast cancer. The workshop was conducted by Dr Ajayita Chanana B.A.M.S. (Gold Med.) and involved an interactive lecture regarding both the health concerns.

The staff was made aware of important information dealing with the causes of physical and mental stress as well as its apt management. In the discussion regarding the fatal disease breast cancer, many misconceptions regarding the causes and cures of the disease were removed. The workshop ended with a free medical check-up for all the teachers.

In the end, the enlightening workshop served as a reminder for placing health as one’s foremost priority, and generated awareness regarding commonly found health problems.
