The spirit of Sri Krishna Janmashtami was evident in school on the 13th August’09

The function commenced with a speech on the importance of Janmashtami.

Tales of Lord Krishna has always fascinated all of us .The troupe of students enlightened us by the divine art of ‘Rasleela’ on Krishna's life. An act was put up by the students which depicted different incidents which occurred in Lord Krishna’s life, like the epic of Lord Krishna winning over Kaliya Serpent, Bal Gopal mischievous pranks on the gopis to name a few . Flavor was added to the function by the colorful performances on the songs like “Maiya Yashoda” and “Are Dwarh walo”. Students also sung hymns in the praise of Lord Krishna.
