Independence Day was celebrated on the 13th August’09 with Patriotic fervor

The function commenced with a speech on the importance of Independence Day thus paying a tribute to our freedom fighters. The Principal of the school, Mrs. Niyati Chitkara, addressed the students, emphasizing on how precious this freedom means to all of us and one must work to add feathers in our Nation’s name. Students sang “Vande Mataram” and gave dance performances on the songs“Jai Ho” and Vande Mataram.

However, flag hoisting ceremony took place in the school premises on 15 August’09 .The Principal of the school, Mrs. Niyati Chitkara hoisted our national flag and the students sang the National Anthem and paid respect to the flag , to uphold the sovereignty of the country.
